  1. Venues

Dorset has some of most phenomenal venues in the country or some say the world.Perhaps you’ve chosen your venue already and were sold on it entirely or maybe you’re still searching for the
perfect place for you and your partner to tie the knot.
The only real problem with venues when you are getting married in Dorset is that there’s almost too many to choose from. You could elect for The Italian Villa which was recently voted the World’s Most Popular Wedding Venue or perhaps the stunning Lulworth Castle which aside from being a truly idyllic venue with an immense team of professionals it is just moments from some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
There’s a near endless list of venues which really are something to behold – I’ve included pictures of a few below.

  2. Scenery

    Dorset has absolutely breathtaking scenery.

This brings us firmly onto my next reason which is the breathtaking scenery, whether it’s the rugged yet beautiful Jurassic coastline and cliffs, the rolling countryside hills, the beautiful beaches or the Cerne Abbas giant and his sizeable member there’s really no end to Dorset’s beauty.

You’re never far from from the sea!
Dorset has an impressive 88 miles of coastline so you’re never far from the sea at all, especially if you’re in the middle or south of the county, if I ran quickly I could be in the sea in 5 minutes from my house!

Dorset is one of the sunniest places in the country so a much better chance of a sunny wedding day!
You can never guarantee the weather anywhere but my choosing a Dorset wedding you give yourself a better chance than most other places, it has 364 hours more sunshine per year than the national average.
