One of the World’s Most Popular Wedding Venues
Dorset is blessed with many incredibly stunning and beautiful Wedding venues but few, if any, come close to the simply breathtaking Italian Villa at Compton Acres, Poole Dorset.
As the name suggests it is a terrific example of Italian style architecture, design and layout but situated less than a mile away from the glorious Sandbanks, Dorset.
As if the building and style itself wasn’t enough the gardens really do take luxurious to another level, the pictures below really do tell their own story.
Standing in the grounds of the Villa you could forgive yourself for thinking you had been magically whisked 1,000 miles away to Tuscany itself, the building has been designed in such impeccable detail that it genuinely feels like that actually could have happened.
The main building comprises three different suites depending on your Wedding needs, you can simply have your ceremony within the Verona suite before moving on to your selected venue for your Wedding Reception – this still allows you to take advantage of the countless photo opportunities the gardens offer before moving on.
If, however, you wish to experience the Villa fully then taking advantage of their full day packages is truly the best option but the wedding coordinator their will ensure your needs are met whatever you desire.
The Gardens, both the Italian and the Japanese ones, are what truly separate The Italian Villa from the rest of the crowd when it comes to the very best Wedding Venues that Dorset has to offer.
Walking out of The Medici Suite you cannot help but be stunned by the huge symmetrical ornamental lake and fountain, the surface covered with beautifully coloured water lilies and the water alive with vibrant and eye-catching Koi Carp.
Perfectly topiary, an exquisite choice of both type and location of plants, trees and other foliage combined with statues to make the Italian Garden a place of luxury that has been seen to be believed.
Moving down again into The Japanese Garden, you may have to pinch yourself to convince yourself that you haven’t accidentally walked 6,000 miles in a blink of an eye to Japan itself.
The expertly maintained lake is bordered by trees and plants of all shades of green, splashed elegantly with flashes of flowers of red, purples, whites, yellows and more, the stepping stones over the lake are the grown-up creation of a childlike dream and the Pagoda sits proudly overlooking the edge of it all – a true place of tranquillity and calm.
You can visit The Italian Villa website and experience a 360 Degree tour of both the Gardens and the different Suites but if you really are interested I would recommend arranging a viewing with them.
So much more than just a pretty face!
It’s all very well being blessed with such beauty and luxury but that is far from where it ends with The Italian Villa, they have put together a staffing team and set of suppliers to make anyone jealous.
Staff there are diligent, polite and completely committed to visualising your dream wedding with you and then helping to make it a reality and the reviews on their website and social media are proof of just how successfully they do this.
Magic at The Italian Villa
Having performed close-up magic at The Italian Villa on several occasions I can safely say that it is a venue with lends itself strongly to being a terrific venue in which hiring a Magician to entertain your guests – so much so in fact that I am officially one of their Gold Level recommended suppliers.
On each occasion I have performed there I have been asked to perform directly after the Wedding Ceremony and into the Wedding Breakfast as well.
Keeping guests happy and entertained whilst your Wedding Photographer is guiding you around the amazing amount of places to get breathtaking shots is the perfect way to turn this waiting period into a even more memorable part of your day.
Here’s a recent review from a performance at The Italian Villa.
